Outcome from ASEAN Sports Ministers in Yogya, Indonesia

The Indonesian Sports Minister Andi Mallaranggeng said that the ASEAN Sports Ministers meeting in Yogyakarta has agreed to make a single coordinating board on wednesday.

In order to support the ASEAN goal in 2015 by forming the single community and also at the same time each of the ASEAN members can archieve a better archievements in sports speicially on global events then the ASEAN Sports Ministers agree on Yogyakarta ASEAN Sports Ministerial Meeting to establish a single coordinating board.

Andi mallaranggeng also stated that the members also agreed to appoint him as the chairman and the Lao’s Sports minister Lao’s Phankam Viphavanh as the vice chairman. The Indonesian minister also said that an Expert Group Meeting (EMG) will be established to set up a working plan for the new board.

Rumours about Umar Patek will be facing trial in Bali

The Denpasar district court is ready to bring the man behind the 2002 Bali bombing, Umar Patek to trial.

There are rumours circulating that Umar Patek will be facing trial in Bali but Amzer Simanjuntak as the PR of Denpasar District Court had not received the information.

“The Denpasar distrcit court will be ready to held the Umar patek trial in Bali alhough we have not yet received the information,” he said.

The decree of the Minister of Justice and Human Rights will playing the role to decide wether the trial of Umar Patek will be held in Bali or Jakarta.

He said,” Ideally it must be in Denpasar but the trial can be held eslewhere depanding on the desicion.”
